Ariol platform – Quantification of tissue biomarkers
The digital imaging and analysis solution provided by the Ariol platform brings objectivity, consistency and standardization to the quantification of biomarkers in tissue sections and tissue microarrays.
  • Capture maximum information from every sample
  • Produce imaging data in a standardized, objective and consistent manner

    • Eliminate human error, provides intelligent imaging - 'train' modules to improve performance
  • Base conclusions on objective, comprehensive data
  • Bring fluorescence out of the dark room

    • Data captured overnight is available for on-screen review the next day
    • Drastically reduced review times eliminate fading problems
    • Analysis maps with auto-relocation tracking remove the difficulty of location tracking
  • Compatible with web-enabled software solutions

    • Image data and analysis output can be imported into SlidePath Image Arena or SlidePath Data Arena

We use Ariol for dual- and four-color FISH assays and we are able to analyze a TMA series of ~550 cancers in less than a week, dramatically decreasing our turn around rate.

Lindsay Brown, Ph.D.,Center for Translational and Applied Genomics,
BCCA Vancouver, BC, Canada

… a powerful tool to help us quantify biomarkers by IHC in our large clinical trials. We have utilized Ariol on TMA’s to replace manual counting and provide a more quantitative assessment.

Professor John Bartlett, Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre

…accurate quantitative data has implied a significant improvement in our research and we have been able to identify new markers with prognostic relevance. ……Ariol is a benchmark in pathology research.

Dr Joaquim Carreras, University of Cambridge, Dept. of Pathology, Addenbrookes Hospital
