Customer training programs

Introduction to ClonePix Training Program

The program is aimed at new users and existing users requiring a refresher course and runs for 2 days for up to 4 participants.

The aim of this program is to provide attendees with a comprehensive training that ensures that they leave with the knowledge and skills required to competently use a ClonePix system. Attendees who have successfully completed the program will receive a certificate. The course will be given by a qualified Molecular Devices Application Specialist.

Program Contents:

  • The principles of ClonePix technology
  • Plating cells to semi-solid medium
  • Familiarization with system hardware
  • Preparing for picking
  • Understanding software features
  • Imaging and selective picking
  • General maintenance procedures
  • Maintaining sterility
  • Assisted hands-on time on a system

Advanced ClonePix Training Program

The program is aimed at experienced users and runs for 2 days for up to 4 participants.

The aim of this program is to provide attendees with an advanced training on how to optimize their use of a ClonePix FL system. Attendees who have successfully completed the program will receive a certificate. The course will be given by a qualified Genetix Application Specialist.

Program Contents:

  • In-depth understanding of the principles of ClonePix technology
  • Optimizing colony growth in semi-solid medium
  • Maximizing the isolation of highest value clones
  • In-depth understanding of software features
  • Open discussions on fitting ClonePix to current process
  • Full flexibility to focus on any ClonePix application or cell type
  • Troubleshooting
