CytoGenetix FISH reagents and kits are developed to provide bright, clear results. The probes are derived from flow-sorted chromosomes amplified by degenerate oligonucleotide-primed polymerase chain reaction (DOP-PCR). Benefits of DOP-PCR derived probes are:
Probes are labeled with Cy3, FITC or with Biotin to allow the use of any streptavidin-coupled fluorochromes. Human whole chromosome paintsAvailable ready-to-use or in 5x concentrate. Paint boxes contain enough single chromosome paint to perform three tests on each class. Human centromeric and telomeric probesAvailable for single chromosome classes, common translocations or as Pan kits for all classes. Multicolor painting and banding kitsM-FISH and PrismFISH kits for human and mouse. M-FISH kits contain kit contains a set of whole chromosome specific paints combinatorially labeled with FITC, Cy3, Cy3.5, Cy5 and Cy5.5. A filter set for these fluorochromes and an imaging system with M-FISH analysis software is required to analyze the cells. PrismFISH is a quick and easy alternative to M-FISH. Each test paints a subset of chromosomes; six for human chromosomes (1-6, 7-12, 13-18, and 16-Y) and seven for mouse (1-7, 8-14, 15-Y). Visualize the entire genome in three or four tests using normal FISH techniques. PrismFISH does not require any special software or filters for visualization. Mouse whole chromosome paints and centromeric probes Whole chromosome paints for additional speciesA selection of whole chromosome-specific paints for porcine, bovine, canine, equine, rabbit, rat and feline cells.
